Does Bluesky work on iPhone Duo?
Not announced yet. Bluesky hasn't said when Bluesky will get an iPhone Duo layout. It still opens on the Duo, but won't fill the inner display until it's updated.

Only an app built with the iOS 27.1 SDK reaches the edges of the inner display and moves its bar buttons to the side. Apple calls that “optimized for iPhone Duo”.
About Bluesky
Bluesky has no announced version for iPhone Duo. As of October 6, 2026, the current App Store release is version 1.134.0, from October 6, and its release notes don’t mention the Duo. Bluesky has made no announcement that we have found.
Many of the developers building for the Duo post on Bluesky, but the official app has no announced layout. Third-party clients have shown their own on the ideas wall: Bayou puts a sidebar on one half and the timeline on the other, and Skyline widens its timeline when the phone opens.
Bluesky will still open on iPhone Duo, like every app on the App Store. Closed, it looks as it does on any iPhone. Open, it won’t reach the edges of the inner display until Bluesky rebuilds it with Apple’s iOS 27.1 tools, which Apple only cleared for App Store submissions on October 5.
