Basketball playbook that gives the court and its tools more room when open.
Does Elite Hoops work on iPhone Duo?
According to its developer, yes. FoldHunt's editor hasn't checked Elite Hoops on iPhone Duo yet, so it's listed as a claim.
- Developer claimedJordan Morgan (@JordanMorgan10), in a post on X. That post links Jordan's write-up of adapting Elite Hoops. The studio's site, daywellspent.io, lists this app, and the App Store seller is Day Well Spent LLC.
Adapted for the fold
- Open · Inner display
Notes beside the play
On the open display Jordan uses ArrangementView so a shared play can sit with its notes or attachments, and the play designer gives the tools more room while the court stays the focus.
- Book · Partly folded
The fold stays clear
Folded, the same arrangement keeps the play designer off the hinge. Jordan says the system handles the reserved area, so this is not a separate screen built only for the crease.
- Closed · Outer display
Bars that overflow well
Closed, it is a thicker iPhone. Jordan pins the toolbar items that must always show and lets the rest overflow into a menu.
About Elite Hoops
Elite Hoops is a basketball playbook sold by Day Well Spent LLC, Jordan Morgan’s one-person studio. Coaches design plays, plan practice, and keep drills in one place. Jordan is adapting it for iPhone Duo. Open, a play can sit beside its notes or attachments, and the designer spreads its tools out so the court stays the thing you look at. Practice mode makes the drill’s time left, the next drill and its steps easier to read, and held sideways the whiteboard grows into a bigger area to mark up with Apple Pencil. Folded, Jordan relies on the system to keep that layout off the crease. The work also gave the app the split-view navigation Jordan had wanted since launch.
