Half-folded like a book, the spread's binding lines up with the hinge so each page fills one half. The page slider, toolbar and note menu all stay off the fold, and the library shows three columns a side so no cover is split by the crease.

shelff is Satoshi Kojima’s PDF reader for iPhone and iPad. Its Japanese page about the iPhone Duo shows version 1.8 in the simulator. Half-folded like a book, a two-page spread sits with its binding on the hinge, one page on each half, and every control stays to one side of the fold. The library lines up its grid with the hinge, three columns a side, and spreads to six columns open flat. Version 1.8 is planned for before October 23.
