The notes say it adapts as you fold, and the Reader keeps your place
Does 1189 work on iPhone Duo?
According to its developer, yes. FoldHunt's editor hasn't checked 1189 on iPhone Duo yet, so it's listed as a claim.
- Developer claimedJason Mitchell posted that version 1.1 adds iPhone Duo support (@dev_jmitchell on X). The picture on that post is App Store Connect, not the app. Version 1.1 on the App Store (id 6804047344, released 2026-10-08) says: "Ready for iPhone Duo. 1189 adapts as you fold and unfold, and the Reader keeps your place." The App Store screenshots are an iPhone and an iPad.

About 1189
1189 is Semper Phoenix’s map of all 1,189 chapters of the Bible, filling in as you read. Version 1.1’s release notes say it is ready for iPhone Duo, that it adapts as you fold and unfold, and that the Reader keeps your place. The post that announced it shows App Store Connect, and the store screenshots do not show the Duo, so there is no layout to describe here yet.
