A talking Dex that folds like the real one, with a data screen when half-folded
Does DexFold work on iPhone Duo?
Yes, seen in the simulator: closed, the cover is the Dex's red lid; open, the sprite screen and keypad split at the fold. Half-folded, the developer says, a data screen of stats and evolutions opens.
- Simulator verifiedIntraPixel, the developer, in a submission to FoldHunt on October 18, 2026, with pictures of the closed and open layouts on the app's website (intrapixel.com). The App Store seller is Hernan Rosario. The App Store description describes the closed, open and half-folded layouts.

The red lid
Closed, the cover is the Dex's red lid, with the big blue lens drawn right around the phone's camera.
- Open · Inner display
Screen and keypad, split at the fold
Open, the Dex powers on with a flicker. The sprite screen sits on one half, and the keypad and description on the other, split exactly at the fold.
- Book · Partly folded
A data screen when you fold it halfway
Fold it partway and a tall data screen opens with a scan-line sweep: stats, abilities, moves, evolutions, type matchups and where to find it. Open it flat to go back to the keypad.
About DexFold
DexFold is a talking Dex for foldable iPhones, and it works on every iPhone. It holds 1,025 entries, and a robot voice reads each one aloud while the blue lens flashes. Each entry has base stats, abilities, moves, evolutions, type matchups and where to find it, and there is a silhouette quiz. It works offline, in English and Spanish, and is free. An optional one-time purchase, DexFold Plus, adds catch tracking with trophies, a team of six and iCloud sync. DexFold is an unofficial, fan-made app, and it is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Nintendo, The Pokémon Company or Game Freak.
On the iPhone Duo the Dex folds like the real one. Closed, the cover is the red lid, with the blue lens drawn around the camera. Open, the sprite screen sits on one half and the keypad and description on the other, split at the fold. Fold it halfway and a data screen sweeps open over the keypad; open it flat to go back. The developer’s website has pictures of the closed and open layouts.

Looked at the iPhone Duo pictures on the developer's DexFold page and App Store listing: flat captures of the app's screens inside an iPhone Duo frame, the way the simulator draws it. Closed, the red lid has the blue lens around the camera hole. Open, the sprite screen sits on the left half and the description and keypad on the right; the right half also shows the stats, evolution and other data screens.
Poses shown: Closed, Open. These are observations of the evidence, not a test of every interaction.
App version: Not recorded in this evidence. Environment: iPhone Duo simulator.
Still pictures in a device frame, not a recording. The half-folded pose appears only in the developer's rendered animation, so it isn't counted here. No build was tested.
