Campus bus times, with the details panel moving beside the map when open
Does NextBus NUS work on iPhone Duo?
Yes, and seen in the simulator: the developer's recording shows bus details over the map when closed and beside it when open. Version 1.35, out October 16, 2026, adds full Duo support.
- Simulator verifiedBenedict Woo, the developer, in a recording of the app on the cover and the open display of the iPhone Duo simulator, posted on LinkedIn on September 23, 2026. The App Store release notes for version 1.35 (released October 16, 2026) add full support for iPhone Duo; those for 1.30 (September 12) improved Duo compatibility.

- Closed · Outer display
Bus details over the map
Closed, the arrival times for the stop you picked sit in a sheet over the lower part of the map. Pull it up for more details, or down to see more map.
- Open · Inner display
A narrow panel beside the map
Open, the stop or directions sheet becomes a narrow panel on the left of a wider map. The stop you picked and your directions stay put as you open and close the phone.
About NextBus NUS
NextBus NUS is Benedict Woo’s app for the campus shuttles of the National University of Singapore, with arrival times and route planning. In the developer’s recording from the iPhone Duo simulator, a stop’s arrival times sit over the lower map when the phone is closed and move into a narrow panel on the left when it opens. Directions use the same sheet, and your stop stays selected as the phone opens and closes. Woo writes about fitting these custom sheets around where the app’s navigation controls sit.
Version 1.35, released October 16, 2026, adds full support for iPhone Duo.

Watched the developer's 86-second recording a frame a second: a working bus list, stop and directions sheets you can drag on the cover and the open display, and the same stop still selected after opening and closing the phone.
Poses shown: Closed, Open. These are observations of the evidence, not a test of every interaction.
App version: Not recorded in this evidence. Environment: iPhone Duo simulator on iOS 27.1; app and Xcode versions not shown.
The recording doesn't say which build it is, so it may not be the version on the App Store. The half-screen views have the Home Screen beside the app, not a second app. The phone is never held half-folded, and no hardware is shown.
