According to its developer, yes. FoldHunt's editor hasn't checked CombatChess on iPhone Duo yet, so it's listed as a claim.

About CombatChess
CombatChess is full-rules chess until a capture is contested: then both pieces drop into a real-time brawl, and the winner keeps the square. Its Duo video plays a match on the cover, opens the phone in the middle of a fight so the arena fills the wide screen, and folds it shut again to carry on with the board on the cover.
