A paper maze you solve by folding the phone: fold it to lay one page on the other
Does Orisuji work on iPhone Duo?
Yes, from launch day on October 23, 2026, and seen in the simulator: unfolded, the maze is a two-page book; folded, the pages combine into a new maze on the cover. On pre-order now.
- Simulator verifiedAdrien Friggeri, the game's designer, in an email to FoldHunt on October 15, 2026, with a recording of the game in the iPhone Duo simulator on the press page (orisuji.com). Orisuji comes out on October 23, 2026, and is on pre-order on the App Store, whose description says it is designed for iPhone Duo: folding the phone is the move. On other iPhones and on iPad, the two pages sit side by side and you fold with a tap or a pinch.
Adapted for the fold
- Open · Inner display
A book of two pages
Unfolded, the phone is a book: a paper maze on the right page, and on the left a second page with holes in it. You walk the paper crane through the maze one step at a time.
- Closed · Outer display
Fold it to make a new maze
Folding the phone lays the left page on the maze. The combined maze carries on on the cover: its paths bridge the holes below, and whoever is underneath is pinned flat. Unfolding it again lifts the page away, carrying whoever stood on it.
About Orisuji
Orisuji is a quiet, turn-based maze puzzle by Adrien Friggeri, drawn as origami: a red paper crane, a fox, a black cat and a gray cat, and a moon of gold leaf, across 69 levels in six worlds, each with its own paper and music. You lure the fox, herd the cats, find keys and flip floors that come and go, with no timers. It costs $4.99, with no ads or in-app purchases, and comes out on October 23, 2026.
It was designed for the fold of iPhone Duo, and folding and unfolding the phone is how you play. Unfolded, the phone is a book, with the maze on the right page and a page with holes in it on the left. Folding the phone turns the two pages into a new maze on the cover: the left page’s paths bridge the holes, and whoever is underneath is pinned. Unfolding it again lifts the page away, carrying whoever stood on it. The developer’s recording on the press page shows it in the iPhone Duo simulator.

Watched the developer's 13-second recording of level Dawn 9 frame by frame: the crane walks on the unfolded phone, the phone folds and the crane walks on across the combined maze on the cover, then the phone unfolds and the crane reaches the moon.
Poses shown: Open, Closed. These are observations of the evidence, not a test of every interaction.
App version: Not recorded in this evidence. Environment: iPhone Duo simulator.
No app version is given, and the game isn't out until October 23, 2026. The recording shows the phone unfolded flat and folded shut, not half-folded. No build was tested.
