Calm dot-pairing logic puzzles across two pages, with a controller when half folded
Does Puntokus work on iPhone Duo?
Yes, from its first version, says the developer: open like a book, the board and controls sit on two pages; folded like a laptop, the bottom half becomes a controller.
- App Store confirmedAngela Vazquez Dominguez, the developer, in submissions to FoldHunt on October 25 and 27, 2026, and in a post on X on October 24, 2026, with a promotional video of rendered devices. The App Store seller is Angela Vazquez Dominguez. Puntokus came out on October 20, 2026, and its App Store description has a section on iPhone Duo. Fold-aware layouts need iOS 27.1.
Adapted for the fold
- Book · Partly folded
Two pages, nothing on the hinge
Open like a book, each screen splits into two pages, the board on one and the controls on the other, and grids always have an even number of columns so the fold falls between two. A decorative spine can be turned on.
- Book · Partly folded
A handheld console
Folded like a laptop, the board stays on the top half and the controls move to the bottom, under your thumbs.
- Open · Inner display
Room to spread out
Open flat, the board sits centered, Home, Themes, Profile and Achievements spread across the width, and Levels shows the list beside the selected level.
- Closed · Outer display
A pocket puzzle, closed
Closed, the board and controls stack in one column. Close the phone after the daily puzzle and the month's stamp drops onto the cover.
- Split View · Two apps
Back to one column
In half the screen, Puntokus goes back to the phone layout, and in very narrow windows the controls shrink as a whole.
About Puntokus
Puntokus is a logic puzzle by Angela Vazquez Dominguez. Each number tells you how many dots go in its row or column, and every dot must touch exactly one other dot, its partner; there’s no guessing, only deduction. A path of levels teaches the rules with a pixel companion, Toku, and there’s a daily puzzle with a stamp for every month. Every puzzle is free, with no ads, energy or waiting; extras are cosmetic only.
Puntokus was made for iPhone Duo, the developer says. Open it like a book and every screen spreads across two pages with nothing on the fold; fold it like a laptop and the board stays up top while the controls drop below, like a handheld console. Open flat, screens rearrange for the big display, and closed it’s a pocket puzzle. The launch video shows these on rendered phones.
